Living History

We are a living history and live steel performance group. Brotherhood of Steel, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) who raise money for various causes.

Our Encampment

With over 1000 square feet of living history, we invite you to experience how the Duke and Duchess traveled their land.

When you visit our encampment, you may find us in the middle of sword practice, relaxing with games (that you can join too), and even eating lunch prepared by our cooks.

The Show

Our show is a live steel, un-choreographed, improvised, sword fighting performance. We learn various sword fighting techniques and train for hundreds of hours to put on a great performance. We sure hope you like audience participation because there will be lots of it!

Audience Participation

Of course, no show is complete without audience participation. We also allow our audience the chance to train with swords just like us!

Our Mission

Inspired by the traditions and culture of the Medieval and Renaissance eras, the Brotherhood of Steel is dedicated to educating and engaging the public through authentic living history, live-steel combat demonstrations, and historical performances. Through entertainment, reenactment, and charitable events, we preserve historical understanding while supporting communities and nonprofit organizations through service, education, and outreach.

We won’t give you a 5 pound piece of steel, but we will train you with the swords we train with.

The shows are always different so come visit often. Not even we will know what’s going to happen next.
